on my way to the garden

 Posted by Hello
I have found myself sitting in the terrace to have a view of the garden. I felt good and just by looking at the flowers and vegetables that I have planted lifted my spirits. The birds have been flying and enjoying the sun after the rain. After the short rain that I started to pull the unwanted plants and enjoy the flowers more closer.....

pear

Oh my pear tree!
as I see your flowers starting to bloom
I canĀ“'t help but to stare and wonder
when will you start bearing fruit again
the sweetest ones you always had in the past
a cure to our endless cravings for unhealthy food
the juiciest saft enough to fill our thirst
during days and night when our fruit bowl was empty
and all we've got to do was climb the ladder to reach you. Posted by Hello

tulips

One of the reason why I enjoy blogging is that many bloggers have inspired me to go back in the things I enjoyed doing before - like drawing, sketching and taking pictures and even tried to make poems which i have never done. anyway, you can bear with me....here is my second so far.

behold the tulips!
beautiful as they are
they bring gladness endlessly.
they bring sunshine to a spring with no sun
they give life to a dry and hopeless garden
it may be gone for the rest of the seasons
and yet, it always come back
in every spring where the hope
for a better garden lasts forever

My favorite Bush

Two weeks ago, I volunteered to use the lawn mower and I didn't realized that it was harder than I thought. My husband was recuperating from his back pain and I wasn't comfortable looking at the tall grass in the front yard, that is why I said I was sure it was not hard to handle. My husband said, there was something wrong with the motor that If he starts it that I should not let go until I finished. And there I was, almost crying because I can feel some pain in my arms and shoulder and yet, I said to myself that I have to finished it. Imagine, I have to hopped in the bed just after dinner because I was so tired. In the picture above is a part of our garden and on the center is my favorite yellow bush tree. Posted by Hello

The sun is shining brightly today. The tulips are also standing straight and moving slowly. I have seen a lot of birds hopping from one tree to another, and the bees buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz around the flowers....This morning, I saw a squirrel trying to climb the hazel nut tree. Posted by Hello

terrible day!

Did you know how many times I tried to upload this picture and there was something wrong with Hello that it just hanged, I was thinking they could have at least inform me that there was something wrong "HELLO!"I am having a terrible day because of my headache and some nightmares I cannot anymore remember and was awaken so early that I cannot go back to sleep anymore. I am not even a day sleeper so, here I am bearing with my pain. In the picture are some of the tulips in my garden. The petals open up when the weather is warm and closes up when it is cold. The dry vines on the background fence are my soon going to grow vines and vines of red grapes. The vines are hard to control because they grows so fast. They are sweet grapes and I make some grape jelly, too for our breakfast in the morning.& Posted by Hello

beans

I have planted them more than a week ago. I have to move them to the green house soon. I just read that beans should be directly planted in the soil because their roots doesn't want to be disturb and its should be free of weeds. My green thumb is being challenged here and let us see if I can make them grow. Posted by Hello

welcome me with open arms!

I created this blog because I like taking pictures of flowers and I got tons of pictures of the flowers and trees I like and those in my garden. I am not an expert in gardening but I am trying to learn more about it. We had a little garden when I was little. Our house is surrounded by a plant called San Francisco. It looks like it was a bush plant. We also have a not so tall Poinsettia tree in the front yard. The front of the house was a big fields where we fly kites during summer and when the tall grass have been taken out. It was a pity that after some years they decided to extend our house and removed the front and back yard. We have a tree story building without any sight of any plant at all. My mother could have been sad. I hope to find pictures of our old house and maybe if I can that I will make an article about it. I hope you will come again and visit my blog.
