today's flowers

this flowers stood so high and alone in front of the window facing our gate. I like it so much! This afternoon, I went to the city's park and sat, lied down and had finished some sketches while facing a beautiful lake surrounded by trees and flowers with a little bridge. The lake is full of ducks and and birds flying around. There were lots of people sunbathing on the other side of the lake and some couples sitting on benches and were kissing I was so sleepy because I lied down under the sun surrounded with trees. .

poverty and safety

There were lots of things in the news lately about poverty--aid, crusades, summit etc. I don't have anything against them but i am wondering how come it seems that very little improvement have been achieved? how many years already have so many nations been talking and doing this and that....until I said to myself it is better news than terrorism and yet, when I turned on the television on this warm thursday afternoon the shocking news that there were blasts in London which they think was an act of terrorism....how safe are we people nowadays?

picnic

We decided to have our dinner last night in the boat eventhough we still have to sand the boom afterwards. I took some pictures but my husband won't allow me to show his picture. The sun was shining brightly but the clouds on the left horizon was dark and moving-sign of rain later while on the right side, the skies was so clear. There were a lot of people rowing boats and some optimist jolle ready to park. I took a picture of the boat beside us which has a name "stay hungry".
